From Unfinished Basement to Home Gym

Fun was had by even the house cat during this Ames area home remodel project. The client was ready to take their basement from an unfinished storage space to a bright place for exercise and activity! This conversion of a basement to an at-home gym involved:

  • Framing and insulation of interior and exterior walls
  • Framing of HVAC ducts
  • Drywall installation
  • Egress window installation
  • Custom cat door installation in interior hall
  • New carpet and fresh white paint
  • Wall-length full mirror hanging and installation
  • Corner TV mount in the home gym area
  • Cat door in wall leading to a custom litter box closet
